We're excited to share that Hellenic Daily News has featured our founder, Ilias Pappas, in an article exploring his journey from Lamia, Greece, to Lexington, Kentucky—and now to Manhattan with Yeero Greek Eatery.
For us, this story starts with family. The flavors and traditions Ilias grew up with inspired Athenian Grill and continue to shape the food and hospitality we share with our guests.
The feature looks back at Athenian Grill's early days serving Lexington at local events and the opening of our first restaurant in Chevy Chase. It also follows the growth of Athenian Hospitality and the arrival of Yeero Greek Eatery near Central Park, where spit-roasted meats, Greek pita, and home-style dishes bring those roots to a new audience.
